SonicFi network devices combined with TIP OLS cloud controller is a good match for hospitality environment which needs large quantity of devices to be deployed, e.g., a high-rise hotel building. On each floor, we utilize various suitable Layer 2 switches to provide GE ports connecting to all communication devices within that floor, including access points and IP cameras in guest rooms and public areas. PoE power is also provided to devices requiring physical power. These Layer 2 switches will utilize their uplink fiber aggregation ports to connect to the Layer 3 aggregation switches, core switches, and security gateways (e.g., SW-WAN GW) located on the ground floor, providing a reliable communication and internet environment for the entire hotel. Due to the large number of network devices deployed, the TIP OLS cloud manager will be used to meet the complete management requirement for the entire communication platform of the hotel.
